Ontario Dove Releases is a networking of Dove Release Companies throughout Ontario

Organized by Wings d'Amour White Dove Releases, its aim is to promote professional, ethical
white dove releases to customers.

When hiring a White Dove Release company, look for a company that will :

...........release only well trained, well cared for Rock Doves (white homing pigeons) of the family columbidae,
which are permanently banded for easy identification of the owner/breeder.

...........ensure that every event has at least one knowledgeable release coordinator present.

...........ensure that appropriate attire is worn for all events and that their release
coordinators are 100% reliable and on time.

...........return deposits for acts of God, etc.

...........never release birds indoors.. at night.... or in inclement weather

...........never allow "pick up" of birds, or ship birds by mail for self-release. (why?)

...........not release birds beyond a range they are able to safely fly.

...........not release birds without sufficient daylight hours to return home safely.

...........Refund fees, if they have to cancel a release due to weather conditions.
(the birds will not be released in heavy rain, winds, fog, or snow)
